Inside and out, there’s a lot to enjoy about the 2021 Kia Seltos starting with its simplicity to ingenuity. A swiftly driving SUV that has rocky terrain and highways in mind, the Seltos is one of the more well-rounded vehicles out there on the market. The standard model will satisfy any driver, but the available enhancements could push the Seltos even more.
Kia Seltos Horsepower
With consistency in mind, the Kia Seltos has 175 hp and that horsepower is produced from an available 1.6-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. This engine is coupled with its precisely crafted 7-speed transmission, also. For a different driving experience, buyers can stick with the 2.0L engine and base engine/transmission combination.
Seltos Top Speed
For those that want to feel a little bit spontaneous behind the wheel, the 2021 Kia Seltos has a maximum speed of 125 miles per hour. This capability is to be seen in both the optional 1.6-liter and standard 2.0-liter engine choices, but one engine may be a bit slower than the other.
What is the 0-60 of the Seltos?
Looking at the build of the 2021 Seltos, owners might not predict a quick performance, however, the vehicle was crafted to excite. The 2021 Kia Seltos takes only 6.6 seconds to go from 0-60mph. This power is seen in the more powerful 1.6-liter turbo 4-cylinder engine, but the base 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine option still packs a quick punch and will register a few ticks slower.

Johnny was very kind and professional. He did what ever it took to help me in my situation without taking advantage of me. I appreciate the kindness of everyone I came in contact with.
We were very pleased with the service and assistance we received from Dylan. We never felt pressured to make any decisions we were not comfortable with. His professionalism and that of everyone we met was first class. We also fell in love with Ginger. She was the icing on the cake. Also, we are very happy with our new KIA Sorento. Thanks for the great service and fair dealing.
Ryan Martinez was spectacular and super helpful with my car decision. This was my first time ever purchasing a KIA and I’m so glad I had Ryan helping me.
Huge shoutout to Jamie Armenta for making our vehicle purchase such a smooth experience! He went above and beyond to fit my schedule and made sure all of our questions were answered. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another car from Jamie at this location in the future.
