2019 Kia Soul vs Honda HR-V EX

PERFORMANCE:

In these SUVs, performance is rated by guest comfort and MPGs, not horsepower and quarter mile times. Both SUVs feature a smaller sized 4-cylinder engine, and even with the Kia Soul’s 60 horse power advantage over the Honda HR-V it manages just 201 horsepower. The Soul has a seven speed dual clutch automatic while the HR-V has a CVT. Speed demons they are not, yet if you need something comfy, with seating for 5, and strong Miles Per Gallon then either SUV would be a strong option. The HR-V being a little more fuel efficient and the Soul being more fun to drive.

DESIGN:

While the HR-V shares style hints from the rest of the Honda family, the Soul has a look all its own. The large optional HID headlights coupled with the optional LED Fog Lights reveal the Soul’s fun character. Several of the various other exterior features of the Soul are:
