- Map Over the Air (OTA) Updates: Know that you’re getting to your Plainview destination efficiently, as Map OTA Updates give real-time updates on the most optimal route by monitoring street conditions, traffic, and more.
- Fully Refreshed Kia Access App: Wondering how to use Kia Connect? Like always, you can access it via the touchscreen in your vehicle. A new access option is available, too, through the refreshed Kia Access App on your smartphone. The app enables remote services like locking/unlocking the doors, climate control, and more.
Other Highlights of the Kia Connect Features
- Wi-Fi Hotspot 4G LTE: Connect up to five devices and stay in touch with the world, no matter where you roam.
- Enhanced Voice Assist: Use voice commands to adjust climate settings, steering wheel heat, audio settings, and more.
- On-demand Find My Car with Surround View Monitor: The vehicle’s lenses for the rear camera and the driver-assist features are used to capture images of the surroundings where it’s parked. The images are sent to the Kia Access App or Kia Owner’s Portal, where you can view them to help find your car.
- Connected Routing: This is a cloud-based system that tells you the most optimal route to take to your destinations. The system uses AI learning to study road conditions, given live monitoring and historical data.

- 911 Connect and Enhanced Roadside Assistance: 911 is called automatically if your airbag deploys, or you can access 24/7 roadside assistance if you have a minor accident.
- Smart Speaker Integration: On compatible devices, you can use the smart speakers to interact with Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa and control select vehicle functions, such as remote start.
