The 2022 Forte is now better than ever before. Featuring a freshly updated exterior design, a bunch of freshly refined tech features, and versatile engine options, the 2022 Forte is the car drivers have been waiting for. The Kia Forte is offered in several trim levels – FE, LXS, GT-Line, GT, and GT Manual. No matter the trim you pick, you can feel comfortable knowing that you’ll experience a powerful performance, superior handling, and control. Also, the 2022 Kia Forte comes with its own lineup of Kia Drive Wise driver-assist technology, that will make sure the good times keep rolling.
The Forte has a gasoline tank size of 14 gallons on all models. That is a generous tank size for a sedan and delivers plenty of fuel to allow the best gas mileage available. We’ll get into how the gas tank capacity impacts the driving range of the Forte.
What is the Driving Range of the Forte?
The 2022 Kia Forte has a driving range of over 574 miles in the FE model. Each trim of the 2022 Forte equips a standard front-wheel drive. Even using available engine types, the EPA-estimated driving distances between trim levels change very little. The FE has the highest mileage with 41 miles per gallon highway, 31mpg in the city for a combined rating of 35mpg. The GT trim has 27 city miles per gallon and 35 highway miles per gallon, while the GT Manual model has 22 city miles per gallon and 31 miles per gallon on the highway.
Engine Performance of the Kia Forte
The 2022 Kia Forte is equipped with a 2.0-liter Inline 4-cylinder engine, specifically for the LXS, FE, and GT-Line models, while the GT Manual and GT models get a durable Turbo 1.6-liter Inline 4-cylinder engine. The FE, LXS, and GT-Line models each equip 147 horsepower and 132 lb.-ft. of torque. Meanwhile, the GT and GT Manual models have 201 horsepower and 195 lb.-ft. of torque. With all of those choices, the 2022 Forte allows you to customize your own driving experience.

Johnny was very kind and professional. He did what ever it took to help me in my situation without taking advantage of me. I appreciate the kindness of everyone I came in contact with.
We were very pleased with the service and assistance we received from Dylan. We never felt pressured to make any decisions we were not comfortable with. His professionalism and that of everyone we met was first class. We also fell in love with Ginger. She was the icing on the cake. Also, we are very happy with our new KIA Sorento. Thanks for the great service and fair dealing.
Ryan Martinez was spectacular and super helpful with my car decision. This was my first time ever purchasing a KIA and I’m so glad I had Ryan helping me.
Huge shoutout to Jamie Armenta for making our vehicle purchase such a smooth experience! He went above and beyond to fit my schedule and made sure all of our questions were answered. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another car from Jamie at this location in the future.
