2023 Kia Sportage: Features & Specs
The Kia Sportage has stayed a popular Sport Utility Vehicle for a while, all thanks to its plethora of fun features and exceptional value. The 2023 Kia Sportage continues that attitude with an “Opposites United” design look that aims to merge the ruggedness of a Sport Utility Vehicle with a futuristic style. More room, new rugged trim levels, and more horsepower make the new 5th-Gen Sportage a sight to behold. It doesn’t matter if you require more rugged credibility or desire the newest tech and luxury options, the New Sportage was made for you.
Power Highlights
The one engine available at launch will be a 2.5L 4-cylinder engine that will make around 187hp. This larger engine is to be paired with an 8-speed auto transmission and is expected to match or be better than the previous model’s fuel economy. A 1.6L Turbo-Hybrid engine will be available later in 2022, and it is expected to be paired with a 6spd. automatic. All-Wheel Drive will be optional on both, depending on the trim level chosen.
Sportage Design Highlights
The most obvious change on the Kia Sportage is clearly the front-end design. The ‘boomerang’ Daytime Running Lights paired with a redesigned grille give the new Sportage a sharp, athletic presence. Counting on the popularity of Sport Utility Vehicles, the 2023 Kia Sportage now comes with the largest rear cargo capacity and rear-seat legroom that is best-in-class. Add in the available dual panoramic, curved 12.3-inch display touchscreens, and you may never leave the 2023 Kia Sportage again.
Sportage Tech Features
Standard-equipped Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ are just the start of things to come. An all-new touchpad takes the place of normal climate controls. This new system changes functions to control both the volume level of the radio and the heat and AC, too. Forward Collision Avoidance, Driver Attention Warning, and Lane Following Assist are just a few of the safety features.
